Our organisational skills, strategies and toolbox of tips and tricks can turn any clutter filled area into a space of calm serenity.

Meet Karen

I’d like to help you to create a peaceful and relaxing home, save money and time to enjoy the things you are truly passionate about. My approach is confidential, non-judgemental, hands-on and empathetic with a bit of tough love if needed. 

By nature I am a very tidy person and have enjoyed clearing my own clutter from an early age. I love creating order out of chaos and after a successful clutter clearing & organising session I feel like I can tackle the world. As a child it went to the extend that every piece of furniture in my doll’s house would be positioned accurately to the mm (quite sad, I know and not something I strive for with my own children).

After getting a commerce degree I have worked in a corporate environment mainly in project management, HR and accounting. In a variety of roles and a variety of organisations I had many opportunities to clear clutter and re-organise the workflow.
Getting married to a more messy person and especially having children threw me off the bandwagon for a wee while so I know what it’s like to have a messy house with piles of clothes, books, toys, paper and random stuff on every surface including the floor. It’s quite stressful and time-consuming searching for things all the time. And it’s also difficult to keep a cluttered space clean.

After being a stay-at-home Mum for several years I started looking for new directions in my life. I knew I wanted to do something with a meaning which would work around my family and which I would be passionate about. I also always wanted to work for myself and so Clear Space Clear Mind was born.

Meet Charlotte

Carlotte is passionate about organising and understands feeling overwhelmed by clutter.  Immediately after college, she moved frequently (every 3 years, on average) which taught her the importance of prioritizing her possessions. 

Professionally, Charlotte worked as a Director of Museums and developed a unique perspective on the treatment of antiques as well as organising in special settings.  She specializes in making downsizing as stress free as possible.  She can help you make those agonizing decisions about what to keep, give to loved ones, or donate to charity.  

Charlotte is also an active member of  
The National Organization of Professional Organizers and the Australasia Association of Professional Organisers. She can’t wait to help you achieve your organising goals!
